Priyanka Chopra thrilled about 'Kaminey'

Used to playing glamourous roles in Bollywood potboilers, Priyanka goes for an image makeover in 'Kaminey'. She plays a dreaded gangster's sister Sweety who gets pregnant after a romp with her stammering boyfriend Guddu ( Shahid Kapur ).

Speaking about the movie, Priyanka told a news agency that a film like 'Kaminey' happens rarely in an actor's career.


"I do hope that I have been able to do justice to Vishal's vision for this wonderful character that he has created. You don't get to work in a fantastic movie like 'Kaminey' and play someone like Sweety every day," Priyanka is quoted as saying.

But given the fact that the movie has Shahid Kapur in a double role, would her character Sweety get noticed by the audiences?

"I am confident that my character of Sweety will definitely make an impact amongst the audiences. You can't expect anything less from Vishal. This character is so well written that it is bound to create an impact," Priyanka gushed.

The movie also stars Amole Gupte (writer and creative director of Taare Zameen Par ) as the main villain. Shahid's two characters of twin brothers are interesting as well. They hate each other. And they both suffer from speech defects.

After 'Kaminey', Priyanka would again be seen in a very different role in Ashutosh Gowarikar's What's Your Raashi . Is she deliberately mixing up glam roles with non-glam ones?

"I am mixing it up. And 'What's Your Raashi', which would come next, would see me in a completely different light as well," the actress revealed.
