There is no mistaking it. Sandeep Chowta is the most innovative film composer to have burst on the Bollywood scene in recent times. He represents the sound and attitude of the new millennium.
After the success of Jungle, Sandeep is ready with a new album he has signed with pop queen Alisha Chinai. It will hit the stands somewhere around October end. The album is a bold attempt to infuse a new sound innovatively.
The album contains subtle rehashes of old melodies which the composer believes are the things that sell. Alisha and Sandeep share a mutual admiration for each other’s works.
Moreover, both of them have tried hard to get over their mental block about popular music . Sandeep has been able to do justice to Alisha’s sensuous voice.
Sandeep is also working on a signature collection which puts together the selected pieces from his compositions for movies like Shool, Satya, Kaun, Vaastav and Jungle.
He has also signed a film with debutant director Rajat Mukherjee and a Tamil film with ace director Mani Ratnam. Rajat’s film is a romantic thriller. Sandeep has roped in veteran singers like Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle for the movie.
Sandeep who proved his musicality in the movie Mast, which of course crashed at the box office, is also looking forward to his forthcoming movies. Looks like the man is all set to jingle all the way.
