The London-based music composer Biddu and the aspiring Indipopper Shail join hands one more time after their first album 'Hello' fizzled out without a trace in the music circuits last year.

Their latest album 'Kahan Hai Tu' has "the right mix of western and eastern sounds", in the words of the talented composer. The eight-song album, released under the record label Lucky Star, is replete with variety of sounds ranging from techno beats to some innovative alaaps.

Biddu, who is adept in amalgamating western instruments with the eastern melody, has used traditional instruments like flute and clarinet quite imaginatively in some of the songs in the album. Even Shail seems to have learnt a lesson or two from the debacle of his debut album and has honed his vocal skills. There is a soft and scintillating number in which you can easily mistake him for George Michael.

Recorded in London, the album still has a considerable dash of synthesizers and guitars--Biddu's forte. Shail who dubs 'Kahan Hai Tu' as "an album with a lot of heart" roped in famous music video director Bobby Khan to direct the first video.

Biddu, who is better known for his composition 'Made In India' that catapulted Indipopper Alisha Chinai to dizzy heights overnight, has propped many a young aspiring singers into Popdom with his eclectic range of music. Next one to croon to his compositions will be Sophiya, (the singer from the all-girl band 'Sansara') who will soon be cutting her solo debut album in English.
