Indipop singer Lucky Ali has taken a break from the hustle bustle of Bollywood to perform Umrah in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, during the religious month of Ramzan.
Lucky Ali calls himself a religious and god-fearing man. He has been performing Umrah for the past few years and is currently on his eighth pilgrimage to the city of Jeddah.
The forty-plus singer, who is coming to terms with the untimely death of his younger brother Macky Ali a few months back, says he has begun seeking spiritual solace over the period of time. He even performed Haj last year.
Son of yesteryear comedian Mehmood, Lucky says he wants to offer prayers for the well being of his ailing father, who is currently undergoing medical treatment in the US.
Lucky Ali recently made his acting debut with Tanuja Chandra’s musical film Sur.
