Come April, rockers Rolling Stones will perform at two concerts in India, one in Mumbai and the other in Bangalore.
Good news for the rock n' roll fans in India. Ageing rock legends Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Woods would perform in Bangalore on April 11 and in Mumbai on April 14 as part of their "Forty Licks" tour.
Initially, the band had been planning to give Mumbai the miss because of the state government's high entertainment taxes, but the issue is reported to have been sorted out.
The show is being organized by the Bangalore-based company called DNA Networks.
Stones are currently in the news for two-CD collection of their greatest hits titled 'Forty Licks', which was specially released to commemorate 40 years of the group's formation.
