The music of Gurinder Chaddha's ' Bride and Prejudice ' has wide variety with tunes inspired from Hollywood's 'West Side Story' to typical Bollywood songs.
The largest contribution in the movie's music comes from Anu Malik , who has composed seven peppy numbers. One of the songs has been penned by Farhaan and Zoya Akhtar.
Speaking of the film's music, Chaddha says: "The music is a mix of 'West Side Story', 'Fiddler on the Roof', 'Grease' and also Hindi film music".
Gurinder is particularly appreciative of Malik's compositions for the film. In fact, Malik even plays a small part in the film. He plays a pundit who welcomes the family during the wedding.
