From composing music for Hindi films to recording his own album with international Jazz musicians, Sandeep Chowta is going a long way.
Chowta has finished recording his fusion album ‘American Pilgrimage’ with the jazz greats like John Scofield, Bunny Brunel, Eddie Daniels and Jay Oliver. Now he is moving on to his next project.
He one of the members of an international band called AO, which will be composing the theme track for the Beijing Olympics to be held in year 2008. The track will be a fusion composition incorporating sounds of the music styles of different nations and regions.
Other members of the band are musicians Jay Oliver and Rick Gannaway.
