SCOOP!! & NEWS Sting to perform in India for tsunami relief 11th Jan 2005  14.30 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau   Musician-singer Sting will cut two concerts in India to make his contribution towards the relief work for the victims of tsunami disaster. More than six years after his previous performance in India, Sting will perform in a solo concert each in the Indian cities Bangalore and New Delhi. While the Bangalore concert is slated for February 4, the concert in New Delhi will be held two days later, on Feb 6, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Sting previously performed in the Nehru stadium in 1998. Tickets for the concert are priced at Rs 2,000, Rs 1,500 and Rs 900. Sale of tickets will begin from January 14. A part of proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards the relief work for the victims of killer Tsunami that left more than 1,50,000 people dead and millions homeless in South East Asia.
