The throaty, narrow-pitched vocal chords of Sanjay Dutt may not make him an exceptional singer. But his voice certainly suits funky numbers.
This is what music directors Vishal-Shekhar seem to have decided to cash upon by composing a number – another fandu one – meant to be sung by Sanjay Dutt for good friend Sanjay Gupta’s movie Zinda.
Dutt has already sung for Gupta’s movies Kaante and Musafir .
Vishal-Shekhar, the music directors, say their idea was to surprise Sanjay Gupta with this number. But media, of course, has spilled the beans beforehand.
The composers promise that the song will be “a catchy number” that will hopefully make its listeners hit the dance floor.
