HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | MUSIC Asha Bhosle nominated for Grammys 10th Dec 2005  14.16 IST By Agencies   Playback legend Asha Bhosle and Pandit Ravi Shankar's daughters Anoushka and Norah Jones have been nominated for the prestigious Grammy awards 2005. 72-year-old Asha and Anoushka has been nominated in the category of 'Best Contemporary World Music Album.' Norah Jones, Anoushka's half sister, is in contention for the 'Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals' category in nominations announced last night. Asha’s album in collaboration with Kronos quartet titled 'You've Stolen my Heart- Songs from R D Burman's Bollywood' is in the race on category 73. Anoushka is in contention in the same category for the album 'Rise', while Norah is placed in category 8 for 'Virginia Moon', a collaborative album with Foo Fighters. Related Asha Bhosle
