The music album of Sanjay Gupta’s movie Zinda was released simultaneously in India and Pakistan.
The albums became available on the shelves of the music stores in India and Pak last Saturday. This step is seen as an initiative to combat piracy of Indian film music in Pakistan.
It is learnt that the Pakistani band, Strings , has played a major role in ensuring this simultaneous release.
Sanjay Gupta , the movie’s director, is quoted as saying: “I think it’s a great accomplishment with the simultaneous release of my film’s music in Pakistan and India as it means taking a step forward in trying to bridge distance between our industries”.
One of the highlights of the songs of Zinda is that it has some real good quality, thought-provoking lyrics.
The album, in two versions (Lounge and Club), has compositions by the Pakistani band Strings, Indian singer Shibani Kashyap, young composer Nikhil Chinapa and Vishal-Shekhar duo.
Yeh He Meri Kahani, a composition by Strings has already become a rage among masses.
