HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | MUSIC Saif to perform in more rock concerts03rd Jan 2006 19.37 IST By Nikhil Kumar Actor Saif Ali Khan showed another side of his personality last month when he played guitar and sang songs at a rock concert in Delhi. Saif is now looking forward to more such performances. Saif did pass off as a rock star when he stepped on the stage with a six-string in his hands at the rock band Parikrama’s concert. 
Saif sang two songs – 'Roadhouse blues' by The Doors and 'Johnny Be Good' by Chuck Berry. He played guitar on three songs –'Highway To Hell' and 'Whole Lot Of Rosie' by AC/DC and a rhythm-and-blues track by Parikrama. Calling his first rock performance as an “awesome” experience, Saif says he is looking forward to performing at more concerts in future. “It was an awesome experience. I played the guitar on stage for a good 45 minutes...They (Parikrama) are really good. I enjoyed being on stage with them so much that I have decided to do another concert with Parikrama in Mumbai,” Saif is quoted as saying in an agency report. 2006 would be an eventful year for Saif in Bollywood. His Eklavya (starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role) would release in the first half of the year. Saif will begin shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Othello’ adaptation in January and after that he would shoot for Abbas-Mastan's new thriller that has Fardeen Khan playing his brother.
