Talented Bengali lass Konkona Sen Sharma , who is known for her strong performances, lends her vocal chords for Rituparno Ghosh’s forthcoming venture Sunglass .
It will certainly be a test of Konkona’s crooning abilities, as she has to sing the song in Hindi and Bengali because ‘Sunglass’ is a bilingual film. The lyrics of the song have been written by Prasoon Joshi.
Even though Konkona has previously worked with Ghosh in two films, she is excited about ‘Sunglass’ because it is her first comedy film. The movie has her playing a wacky woman with crazy powers.
The film will have Jaya Bachchan playing Konkona’s mother.
Coincidentally, Konkona also plays Jaya’s daughter in a forthcoming Yash Raj film to be directed by Pradeep Sarkar .
Meanwhile, Konkona has completed her first horror movie Amavas . She is also excited about her movie Deadline , which is a thriller.
