Song and dance is not something we normally associate Aamir Khan with.
But the actor will groove to the beats of a peppy romantic track composed by A R Rahman for the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Ghajini .
The song, featuring Aamir with as many as 80 dancers, will be shot in Namibia. Ahmed Khan, who recently directed Fool And Final , will choreograph Aamir’s dances.
Ahmed has previously worked with Aamir in Ram Gopal Varma’s hit ‘Rangeela’.
After Namibia, one more song will be shot in South Africa.
The title of this ‘Ghajini’ remake has still not been finalized. Aamir has even asked his fans to suggest possible titles for the movie on his blog.
The film is being directed by A R Murugadoss who directed the original. South actress Asin and newcomer Jiah Khan are Aamir’s co-stars in the film.
The movie tells the story of a man who suffers from memory loss after being hurt by goons who kill his lover. Later, despite his mental condition, the amnesiac hero tries to remember things by making notes and making tattoos on his body. In this way he zeroes down on the killers of his lover.
