This is the first assignment the actor has apparently taken after his release from prison last month.
When Sanjay Dutt came out of Yerwada Jail after getting an interim bail from Supreme Court, the actor had clearly stated that he wished to use this time to work on his case with his lawyer. In between, he has been taking out time to make pilgrimages to holy places.
But now, the actor has reportedly consented to his first assignment in Bollywood since his release. He is set to record a song for Sujoy Ghosh’s movie Aladdin in which he plays a role.
It is learnt that the film’s music director duo Vishal-Shekhar persuaded Dutt to record a song for the film. Dutt apparently agreed because recording the song will not take more than a day.
The song is a rocking number.
Earlier, Sanjay Dutt has sung for a few films and an album with noted singer Asha Bhosle .
