Sexy Sophie Choudhary working on an 'original' album

Tired of doing remix numbers, singer and actress Sophie Choudhary is presently working on her next music album, which, she says, will have original compositions.

For how long can one croon the pepped-up remixes of the popular Hindi songs? Sophie has reached a saturation point with remixes and has even cancelled her contract for another remix album with T-Series.

The hot belle rather wants to do “something original”. That is why she has been working on her new album with a number of music directors, including the London-based composer and performer Rishi Rich. Sophie has known Rishi Rich for a long time and the two had been toying with the idea of working together for last couple of years.

Sophie says her new album will have a wide variety of sounds that will particularly appeal to youngsters. That is why she plans to release the album after the exams in May this year.

The yet-untitled album will have nine scintillating tracks composed by musicians like Rishi Rich, Bappa Lahiri (Bappi Lahiri’s son), Biddu and two other composers. Though the songs will have Indian melodies, they will have a heady mix of techno, rap, R n’ B, hip-hop, and pop.

The lyrics are written jointly by Sophie and Panchhi Jalonvi.

Sophie herself is the executive producer of the album.

On the Bollywood front, Sophie is working in two big projects – Sanjay Gupta’s Alibaug and Ganesh Acharya’s comedy Money Hai Toh Honey Hai .
