Aamir Khan shows a glimpse of his secret talent

The superstar revealed a hitherto unknown side of his creative self on Zee's show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' recently by playing drums for the audience. Aamir wielded the drum sticks and gave a footsie beat to the song "Papa Kehte Hain" from his very first film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak , after music composer Aadesh Shrivastava , one of the judges on the show, requested him to do so.

Reportedly, Aamir had learnt drums more than 15 years ago for a movie but did not leave the hobby since then.


So even as Aamir played drums to 'Papa Kehte Hain', composer Pritam jumped in, armed with his guitar, while Aadesh and Shankar Mahadevan gave vocals to the song.

Aamir not just played the drums, he also recited a humourously romantic sher apparently for his wife Kiran Rao .

The verse reportedly went like this: "Kaash tumhare chehre par chechak ke daag hote... Chaand toh tum ho hi, sitaare bhi saath hote."

Wah! Aamir. Shayari ho toh aisi.
