Bollywood music composer duo nominated for Emmy Award

Salim and Sulaiman have been nominated for Outstanding Original Song in the Children's Animation category for their composition called 'We Like Being Small'. The song featured in Nickelodeon USA's popular show 'Wonder Pets'.

Emmy Awards, which is often referred to as the Oscars of the television industry, will be held in Los Angeles on August 30. Both Salim and Sulaiman say they are "overwhelmed" by the nomination and are keeping their fingers crossed for the awards night.


The brother duo has been composing music and background score for Indian films for over a decade. Their most memorable scores have been for films like Chak De India , Aaja Nachle , Roadside Romeo , Fashion and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi .

However, most of the popular awards they have won so far are for their background scores.
