Fardeen learns to rock

Rock On has set a new benchmark for the actors playing rockstars in films. Now, Fardeen Khan is grappling with the guitar to play his role in ‘All The Best’ convincingly. The actor plays a rockstar and though director Rohit Shetty did not insist on him learning the musical instrument, Fardeen willingly decided to take the guitar lessons.

Subi, a lead guitarist from a rock band in Mumbai, is believed to be giving lessons to Fardeen. Subi has been with the film’s unit in Goa since the last seven weeks and Fardeen has been learning from him every alternate day.


Fardeen says he first learnt the guitar as a kid but did not pursue it in his growing-up years. But now, he is thrilled to be learning to play the instrument.

Though the actor still can’t play a full song, he can, however, manage to strum a few chords and pluck a few tunes.

Not bad for a beginner!
