The story is a cop and robber chase, the robber here transporting diamonds worth 50 crores. Bamboozling their way into the already rickety story-line are a bunch of buffoons - one small-time conman Kishan Rietesh, one honest mechanic Arjun Talpade and his true love Shivani Riya Sen and her dad Kher, one wannabe singer Julie Koena Mitra, and an assorted cast of village folk, all with hearts of shining gold. There is also, in case you are losing hope, a dog, with admirable "fetching" capabilities. So, there's Jackie Shroff as Carlos, a bankrupt and extremely inept mafia don. His associate Sania Jaitley is transporting smuggled diamonds via train, but pursued by Inspector Namane Shetty and in a crunch, places them in an old man's bag. The old man is actually trickster Kishan in disguise, who carries the diamonds away unwittingly. Later when a couple of gangs get a whiff of the wealth, there ensues a grand mela of sorts with everyone vying for the loot.

Money sets the world in motion. But the more you chase money, the harder it is to catch. Director Sangeeth Sivan's movie 'Apna Sapna Money Money' is one such tale of several characters in a mad race to be rich.
The film, produced under Subhash Ghai's banner Mukta Arts, is a situational comedy starring a host of actors: Ritesh Deshmukh, Celina Jaitley, Koena Mitra, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Shreyas Talpade, Riya Sen and Anupam Kher.
Ritesh Deshmukh plays Kishan, a young man from Goa whose brain is full of every conceivable trick to make a quick buck. He cons people by slipping into different outfits and by assuming many guises.
Koena Mitra plays Julie, a sexy club-dancer with quite a reputation in the locality where she lives. Behind her raunchy exterior is a compassionate, kind-hearted woman who goes out of her way to help the needy.
Celina Jaitley plays Sania Badnaam, a con-woman who uses her sexuality to lure men and leave them penniless later. A beautiful woman who doesn't give in to emotions easily, Sania only craves for money and power.
Jackie Shroff plays Danny Carlos, a merciless underworld don with a wacky fashion sense. He works from Bangkok and operates in India through Sania.
Shreyas Talpade plays Arjun Fernandez, an honorable man who is content making a simple living from whatever money he earns from his garage. He meets the woman of his dreams on a bed of red hot chillies. But he doesn't know that it would take him hell of an effort to win her hand from her father.
Riya Sen plays Shivani Pandit, a simple girl from a Brahmin family. She is Arjun's love interest. But the only problem is her stubborn father, who would never marry her to Arjun (Shreyas).
Sunil Shetty plays Namdev Mane, an honest cop dedicated to putting criminals behind bars. But some clever criminals who work in disguise have kept him on his toes.
Anupam Kher plays Pandit Saiyabol Shastri, an aged man who is overprotective about his daughter (Riya Sen). Shastri is also smitten by a sexy girl, who in reality turns out to be a man.
Some people run after love, some run after money. In 'Apna Sapna Money Money', everyone except Shivani (Riya Sen) and Arjun (Shreyas Talpade) run after money.
There is a disguised conman (Ritesh Deshmukh), there is a club dancer (Koena), there is a much-dreaded don (Jackie Shroff) and his trusted aid (Celina), there is a tough cop (Sunil Shetty), there is a frustrated gangster (Chunky Pandey) and many more colorful characters.
Everyone is after precious diamonds that are hidden somewhere. As these characters enter the mad race to riches, the movie's story takes many comical twists and turns.
The film is being described as an out-and-out comedy by its director. One highlight of the film is the number of guises Ritesh Deshmukh dons in it. He dresses up as a buxom girl, a Kathak Dancer and a Nepali guard.
Even Celina Jaitley is said to have donned several looks in the film.
'Apna Sapna Money Money' will hit the theatres on November 10.
