Rukmini is well into her early 40s and is still unmarried. She decides to let her orphaned niece, Padmini, live with her, and together they device a scheme to entrap wealthy men, relieve them of their money, abandon them, and move on to better targets. They do succeed for quite a while, assuming various disguises, and names, amassing a vast fortune, until Padmini falls in love with one of her targets, a young man named Raghu, and decides to call it quits. An unstable Rukmini, who owes money to Monty, decides she cannot go it alone and concocts a scheme that will force Padmini to give up on Raghu and re-join forces with her to go on philandering unsuspecting wealthy men. Rukmini's first move is to seduce an equally unsuspecting Raghu and ensure that Padmini is a witness to this. The question remains, will a street-smart Padmini allow herself to be taken in by her aunt?

“Never fall in love with the guy you are eyeing to con,” is mausi Rukhmini's wisdom for her sexy bhaanji Padmini.

Gorgeous Rekha and sensuous Mallika Sherawat play two con women in this movie directed by Govind Menon.

Rukhmini (Rekha) and Padmini (Mallika) are always on the lookout for “rich fools”. The experienced Rukhmini entices rich men to marry her, and before the marriage could consummate, bhaanji Padmini seduces them (as a part of their plan).

And when Rukhmini catches her new rich husband 'in the act' with Padmini, she files for divorce, claiming big amount of money and property in alimony.

So, while the going remains good for the two beautiful swindlers, their “victims” don't realize that the two women are related and they duped them as a part of a well-thought-out plan.

Then the two ladies decide to pull off a big con. Their next target - a Sindhi Gutkha King in Mauritius. In the meantime, Padmini decides to pull another con of her own - a young man (Karan Khanna) who has fallen in love with her.

But Rukhmini believes that Padmini is not yet ready to con men without falling in love with them!

Then follows a series of hilarious situations as a sex-crazed Punjabi (their past victim) discovers their truth.
