Jhon and Akshay are back in the madcap comedy Desi Boyz

Economic recession has humbled many a grown up men. The two Desi Boyz in videsi land suffer a nasty blow of the meltdown and are left scratching along to make a living. Then they stumble upon a weird idea to make an easy buck. Watch Akshay Kumar and John Abraham bring the house down with their hedonistic antics in Desi Boyz.

The film is the directorial debut of Rohit Dhawan, son of David Dhawan. The story and screenplay is also written by Rohit and it remains to be seen if he has inherited the comedic knack of his father.

Desi Boyz is set in London. It is set around the time when the people were getting fired from their jobs in the aftermath of economic recession.

The film also features a cameo appearance by Sanjay Dutt and a supporting role by Omi Vaidya.

Synopsis

The year is 2009. The world has been struck by the financial meltdown. But Nick Mathur (John Abraham) and Jerry Patel (Akshay Kumar) don't feel a thing in their comfortable pad in London.

Nick feels smug with his successful investment banking job, the new bonus in his pocket and his beautiful fiancé, Radhika (Deepika Padukone), by his side. On the other hand, Jerry is so used to scraping the bottom of the barrel and living off his best buddy Nick, that recession feels like home. But life has a way of pulling the rug from under our feet.

Nick and Jerry stop smiling the day Nick's company decides to downsize and unceremoniously fires him. And Jerry is informed by the Social Services that his nephew Veer, whose local guardian Jerry is will be placed in a foster home unless he gets a steady job.

Desi Boyz is the story of two men who are forced to do something extremely bizarre which gives them instant gratification but the repercussions tear them apart and its aftermath which tests everything including their friendship.
