Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam Preview
Starring Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles “Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam” is a mushy romantic flick with the clichéd 'love-triangle theme' revolving around the schmaltzy emotions.
The only thing the movie boasts of is its attractive star cast including an eye-catching cameo by the doe-eyed Aishwarya Rai. It is directed by K.S. Adiyaman and produced by K.C. Bokadia.
Forming a part of the film's story are two orphans Gopal (Shahrukh Khan) and Nita (Suman Ranganathan) who, after their father's death, come under the care of their deceased father's best friend Devnarayan (Alok Nath). Acting in loco parentis to his friend's children Devnarayan unconsciously neglects his own daughter Laxmi (Aroona Irani) and her children Radha (Madhuri Dixit) and Prashant (Atul Agnihotri).
And when Laxmi leaves the house in response to her father's rank indifference Devnarayan realizes his mistake. But it gets too late before he could repent. Laxmi meets with a fatal accident and Devnarayan is left with the responsibility of raising her children as well.
Anyway, Gopal and Radha grow up to be lovers. To solidify their life long relationship they tie the knot together. But their marital life is not without the ups and downs. Gopal is a bit too subjugating and Radha is a woman of her own rights. Their life is tossed topsy-turvy with the entry of Radha's close friend Suraj (Salman Khan).
Suraj is a great friend and understands Radha's needs better than her own husband. With time Radha is attracted towards Suraj. This puts Gopal on guard. He is suspicious of Suraj's increasing proximity to Radha and doesn't approve of their friendship.
The wedge appears between their marriage. And relationships keep getting more complicated until the film's director K.S.Adhiyaman takes the film to its expected end.
The film also stars Atul Agnihotri and voluptuous Suman Ranganathan in marginal roles. It is a remake of the Tamil movie, “Thotta Chinungi”. Its music is composed by Nadeem-Shravan and Nikhil-Vinay.
