James
James is the story of how a courageous man single-handedly takes on the people controlling the political power in the city of Mumbai.
The film stars the dashing newcomer Mohit Ahlawat in the lead role. He has become the cynosure of the eyes of Ram Gopal Varma . So impressed is Ramu with Ahlawat that he is casting him in the role of Amitabh Bachchan in the remake of Sholay .
'James' has Nisha Kothari playing a vivacious city girl with a sense of pride to match. Ramu was so impressed by this Delhi girl in 'James' that he casted her in a role in Sarkar .
Mumbai is in the grip of reign of fear by a handful of people controlling the political power. This is one family headed by Shanti Narayan whose mainstay and strength now is his Brutality. James arrives in Mumbai with nothing but a shoulder bag, nerves of steel and bundles of raw courage.
James has come to stay with his childhood friend Babloo and lands up a job as the head of bouncers at a popular nightclub. James meets Nisha at the club. The casual acquaintance between James and Nisha develops into friendship and mutual admiration.
James finds himself at loggerheads with a pitch drunk guy misbehaving in the club. This guy has a fixation for Nisha too. James sets the guy right, only to find that he turns out to be the younger brother of Shanti Narayan, Radhe Narayan.
James is hunted for by the Narayan family. In the chase James' friend Babloo is killed. What ensues is a pitched battle of fights, fists cuffs and violence. The climax is a catharsis of the entire journey of James, and the entire process, which this one man goes through but does not yield to the evil forces.
'James' has substantial skin show by Nisha. Her beach crawl in the bold song 'Zindagi Jeene Ka Naam' is the one to watch out for.
Produced by Ramu and directed by Rohit Jugraj, 'James' is another product from Ramu's production house The Factory. The film is slated to release in August.

James Reviews |

Movie Review : Lacklustre (0.5/5) On the face of it, 'James' hardly looks like a film from Ram Gopal Varma's factory. The movie, directed by newcomer Rohit Jugraj, has nothing fresh except its hero Mohit Ahlawat and heroine Nisha Kothari. Mohit chips in action and brooding intensity. Nisha makes sure the audiences are titillated to ...
