- The Jeena Sirf Merre Liye Music Review

It is music composer duo Nadeem-Shravan's forte to churn out the romantic melodies. Their music score for Tusshar-Kareena starrer Jeena Sirf Merre Liye is medley of catchy and trite numbers.

The album opens to the romantic mood with the title song Jeena Sirf Merre Liye which bears a stark resemblance to SRK-Kajol number Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanam. Yet, a commendable effort is made by female singers Alka Yagnik and Kavita Krishnamurthy to bring some freshness to the track, while the vocal rendition by Babul Supriyo is plain mediocre.

Then follows the peppy number Tu Hai Solah that changes the album's mood from sentimental to jovial. The song is rendered spiritedly by Abhijeet and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

Sameer takes a break from kitsch and pen some noticeable lyrics in Kash Tujhse Mile. The song is a low tempo track with some good flute and drum accompaniment in the backdrop.

Anuradha Sriram shows her vocal inflection in the pseudo-Punjabi number titled Dupatta. The Punjabi lyrics in the song do not match with the non-Punjabi music and the song falls flat but for Sriram's singing.

Next song Pyar Maange opens with a medley of techno-savvy tunes but then takes a swoop into a different octave while singers Babul Supriyo and Sunidhi Chauhan go about with their rendition from low notes to the high ones in the musical scale.

The album has a qawwali Allah Allah that makes for a delectable hearing thanks to its Sufi roots. Sonu Nigam has failed to bring the required fervor in his voice while Nadeem-Shravan rips the qawwali of its folk flavor.

Ek Bar to India is a soft number with scintillating guitar notes in the backdrop. The composition however falls flat due to Sameer's tepid lyrics.

On the whole Jeena Sirf Merre Liye has a mix of romantic and foot-savvy numbers that are likely to go well with the masses.
