Singapore-based Dr. Siddhant Arya recruits Indian-born superman, Rohit Mehra, who was given special powers by an alien named Jadoo, to built a computer that can forecast the future, resulting in an accident that kills Rohit. When this news reaches Rohit's widowed mom, Sonia, in India, she passes this on to Rohit's wife, Nisha, who has just given birth to a son, Krishna, however, Nisha unable to handle this devastating news - passes away, leaving Krishna to be brought up Sonia. When Krishna is enrolled in school, she notices that he has the same intellectual and physical powers that his dad possessed, so in order to shield him from any harm, she re-locates to a secluded and remote area in the mountainous region, where Krishna grows up. Years later, Krishna has matured, has acquired the same special powers of his dad, and is also able to communicate with animals. He meets with camper, Priya, and is attracted to her. When she returns home to Singapore, she phones him to visit her so that she can introduce him to her mom, so that they can get married. A thrilled Krishna travels to Singapore, despite of Sonia's pleas, meets with Priya and is all set to meet her mom, get married and return home. What Krishna does not is that Priya has lured him so that she could exploit his superpowers on her TV network, Star Plus, and not only maintain her job, but also get a promotion. It looks like the naive, and overly trusting Krishna may now be propelled straight into the hands of Dr. Arya, who is still alive, and on the verge of creating the supercomputer that can forecast the future - and is quite capable of doing anything in his power to achieve this nefarious goal and project himself as the one and only God of this universe.

Krrish
Krrish , the sequel to Koi Mil Gaya is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year and stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.
Rohit and Nisha (played by Hrithik and Preity Zinta in 'Koi Mil Gaya') are married and they have a kid. They both die in a car accident. The kid starts growing up in his grandmother's care.
As Krrish is growing up he discovers that he has superpowers (in 'Koi Mil Gaya' Jadoo transferred his powers into Rohit, which apparently went to his son). Krrish Mehra (Hrithik) is a man with extraordinary strength, speed and intelligence. He loves the calmness and beauty of natural mountainous and surroundings where he is living.
Krrish comes across Priya ( Priyanka Chopra ), a beautiful girl from Singapore, who has come there for camping and trekking.
As expected, romance blooms between the two and despite their different backgrounds, Krrish and Priya fall in love with each other. But Krrish is left heart broken when Priya finally has to leave for Singapore.
When Sonia, Krrish's grandmother ( Rekha ) sees how lonely he has become, she encourages him to go to Singapore and woo Priya back. Krrish reaches Singapore and finds it a completely new and fascinating world. He learns fast and adapts to it quickly. He makes new Chinese friends in Singapore and woos Priya.
In one of the songs, the atmosphere is that of a carnival where most of the people are wearing masks of different kinds. The song continues into a circus, there a short circuit happens and the tent of the circus catches fire.
The circus performers get stranded on top and start screaming for help. Krrish realizes that he can help them. He sees a slightly broken burnt Mask lying on the ground nearby. Krrish dons the mask for hiding his identity and save them in a spectacular manner. This heroic deed makes the 'Masked Man' a hero and a nationwide search is launched for this new hero in Singapore.
Priyanka's character in Krrish has certain grey shades to it, for in the film she is a typical big city girl who encounters a young man - the like of whom she has never met before. Though Priya is 'using' Krrish for her own 'selfish needs', she still can't help herself but react to his innocence and honesty.
Since Priya is inherently sweet, her portrayal is more of a confused girl rather than someone with true grey shades and finally it's her heart that finally shows her the right way.
Hrithik will be seen in six stunning looks - an old man, the young guy from 'Koi Mil Gaya', a village look, a Singapore based fashionable guy look, Superhero look plus there is a child actor who plays a young Hrithik.
Working title of Krrish was 'Koi ... Tumsa Nahin', which was later changed to Krrish.
The Krrish character in the movie is very strong and can leap 30 feet in the air. Hrithik received special training in Hong Kong for the special leap he makes in this film. Hrithik did extensive martial arts training for this movie - his trainer was Tony Ching Siu Tung (from Hong Kong).
Despite only 25 days of training in China, Hrithik's instructor thought that he could pull off stunts, which usually take years of training. In the famous circus scene, Hrithik suffered a hamstring tear in his right leg. Doctors prescribed bed rest for two weeks but Hrithik continued shooting after two days using painkillers.
Hrithik broke his right thumb and a toe during the strenuous training for the ambitious wirework used in the film. Hrithik also singed his hair while running through a fire in another action scene.
The movie basically shows how Krrish deals with his power and save the world from a villain ( Naseeruddin Shah ).
Krrish also stars Sharat Saxena, Puneet Issar, Hemant Pandey, Manini De, Kiran Juneja and Archana Puran Singh.
Produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan, Krrish has music by Rajesh Roshan and is scheduled to release on June 30, 2006.
