Sameer Salman Khan is a hot-headed youngster with a knack of getting into brawls. When his girlfriend dumps him, he is heartbroken and relocates to Goa to work as a lifeguard. He falls for his next-door neighbour Rani Priyanka Chopra, but Rani dislikes him because Sameer had slapped her father by mistake. On top of it, Sameer's new roommate Sunny Akshay Kumar is a lecherous playboy who has the hots for Rani. This results into a zany battle of wits between Sameer and Sunny over who will win Rani's heart .
Pandit Chutki Baba is called in to name a new-born child in the Malhotra family. He names him Sameer, but cautions his grandmother that his life will be inflicted by anger problems. This prophecy becomes true when Sameer loses his temper for the most trivial of reasons, which gets him into trouble with the law, as well as expelled from school. He re-locates to Goa, meets with his beautiful neighbor, Rani, and falls in love with her. The problem is that Sameer has offended and assaulted her dad, Colonel Dugraj Singh - and no one in the Singh family, including their dog, Tommy, likes him; And to make matters worse he finds that Rani is really attracted to his obnoxious room-mate, Sunny, who has an agenda of his own - to show Sameer in poor light at all times.
Mujhse Shaadi Karogi Preview
Two guys in love with the same girl. Both trying every possible antic to win her love. Both are arch-enemies but still they have to put up in the same apartment. David Dhawan's Mujhse Shaadi Karogi promises to be a laugh riot.
Samir (Salman Khan) is a brawny hunk working as a lifeguard in Goa. He is a handsome guy who hardly cares a hoot for the average-looking beach beauties. Only a stunner could catch his attention.
One day he spots a girl who almost makes his heart burst out. She is Rani (Priyanka Chopra), an aspiring designer dedicated to making her career. A totally smitten Samir gets down to the act of wooing her. But there are hurdles galore.
The first one is none other than his flatmate Sunny (Akshay Kumar), who is no less besotted with Rani. And surprisingly the streak of luck often favors Sunny, while everything Samir does to impress Rani goes spectacularly wrong. Even the advises from Samir's astrologer friend Raj (Rajpal Yadav) bring forth nothing ominous for him.
And then there is hurdle number two - Rani's stern father Colonel Dugraj Singh (Amrish Puri) who fought the Goan war against the Portuguese and is now retired and over-protective about his daughter.
While both Samir and Sunny try their best to woo Rani, she discovers fun and enjoyment in life, all this while keeping both the men on tenterhooks.
