Shankar has apparently done a thorough research on the book Five Point Someone, written by Chetan Bhagat. 3 Idiots is inspired from the book and so is Nanban. Thus it can’t be said that the remake is the exact copy of the 2010 Hindi blockbuster. The plotline of 3 Idiots was entirely changed from the book but it retained the central characters. |
