Phir Hera Pheri is the sequel of the runaway comedy hit Hera Pheri , which had the escapades of Raju, Baburao and Shyam.
Hera Pheri is easily amongst the best five Bollywood comedies of all times. It is the movie that firmly established Priyadarshan as the 'King Of Comedies'.
As Casanova Raju, Hera Pheri proved that Akshay Kumar was much more than just an action hero. Hera Pheri made Paresh Rawal the star he is today because after playing the hilarious Baburao, there was no looking back for him. Sunil Shetty completes the trio as the simple-at-heart and clean-at-mind Shyam.
The hot and sexy Bipasha Basu plays Anuradha in the film. Ravishing Bengali beauty Rimi Sen plays Anjali.
More enjoyment in store as the deadly trio of Baburao, Raju and Shyam are back and are now ready to do Phir Hera Pheri.
Phir Hera Pheri starts from where Hera Pheri ends - after Baburao, Raju and Shyam became super rich, because they managed to save the kidnapped daughter of a rich businessman Kulbhushan Kharbanda from the clutches of Gulshan Grover .
And what happened to all that money from thereon? Did Raju throw it all away due to his philandering ways? Was Shyam able to repay all his loans and still save some for him and his family? Did Baburao succeed in sending off all the creditors happy from his doors and furnish his damaged garage? Did the three lead a simple life or they became greedy for more?
Raju wants a quick way out to increase his wealth. Each of them wants to invest money at the right place but 'shortcut' Raju has some different plans.
Raju has a plan - a plan that can double the investment in quick time. And for that they need some money to get started. But the trouble is that the combined money of three of them too isn't anywhere near what is actually wanted on the table.
While simple-at-heart and clean-at-mind Shyam and Baburao don't really have much clue about how to get started, Raju knows how to get out of this tricky situation.
The trick is to find two investors who could help them in arranging for money and convince them that this is going to be profitable for everyone involved.
Soon Raju finds the investors, one of them being none other than Rajpal Yadav . But he has his own troubles as well! How? Because he himself has borrowed money from a 'totla' Don - Sharat Saxena.
In their quest for more money and wealth, Baburao, Raju and Shyam find themselves to be a part of an exciting adventure of their life.
Baburao, Raju and Shyam do take a risk and now they have to run to save themselves.
A hilarious show in the offering, the film also has a horde of comic actors like Johnny Lever , Suresh Menon, Suniel Pal, Tiku Talsania, Javed Khan, Manoj Joshi, Razzak Khan and Dinesh Hingoo.
The film has an item number by Dia Mirza . Music of the film is handled by Himesh Reshammiya and Sameer is the lyricist.

So, the trio is back at it again. Raju, Shyam and Baburao, the three unique characters are back at their race for the riches. But, did they not become rich at the end of 'Hera Pheri'? Yes, but more money is always welcome. But then again, the greed for more and more can land one back to the footpath...
