Tamanna is a charming, 26-year-old young woman, who breathes fresh air into the lives of everyone she meets. She works in an advertising agency, and her fresh, innovative ideas have made the agency successful. At her college reunion, Tamanna meets Rohit. In the romantic settings of the college, love blooms between them. But, Tamanna loses touch with Rohit. Although she tries to get in touch with him, all her efforts go in vain. The situation brings her life to a standstill, and she even loses her job in the process. Then, she meets a young man, Tarun, who brings a ray of hope into her life.
Tamanna Sahni is an accomplished business executive, lives with her radio-broadcaster sister, Tanya, and leads a fairly upper middle-class life. She does have a sweetheart in U.S.-settled Rohit Manchanda. She is thrilled when she finds out that Rohit has returned, they get together and spend some time in close intimacy. Then Rohit returns to the U.S., and is not heard of again. Six months later, when Tamanna is ready to go into an important meeting, she is summoned by Dr. Raisingh to attend the hospital immediately as Tanya has met with an accident. Tamanna drops everything and goes to the hospital, where she is asked to give some blood in exchange for the blood given to Tanya, which she does. A few days later, she gets another phone call from Dr. Raisingh - and it is after this phone call that Tamanna's life will be turned upside down; she will lose her job; her contacts; and all of her friends; her employer will accuse her of not performing properly, and the only way she can get someone to hear her story is by going to Court. Watch what happens when she actually gets to Court, and if at all she gets any justice.

After her critically acclaimed directorial debut Mitr - My Friend, actress-turned-filmmaker Revathy returns with an ambitious multi-starrer film Phir Milenge. The movie is being hailed as Bollywood's first film on AIDS awareness and stars Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Abhishek Bachchan in the leading roles.
Following are the character sketches of the three stars in the film:
Salman Khan plays a musician named Rohit Manchanda. He is an easy-going guy who has a deep understanding of music and a general appreciation for nature and arts. Despite his talent, Rohit keeps a humble profile and gets along people from all walks of life. There is also a reclusive side to his personality that often makes him go into solitude and reflect upon life in general.
Shilpa Shetty plays Tamanna Sahani, an energetic employee working in an ad agency. Her young sister is the only living member of her family.
Tamanna is a highly optimistic person who has made her company successful with her fresh and innovative ideas. For her, no feat is big enough and there is always a higher mountain to climb.
Abhishek Bachchan plays a budding 28-year-old lawyer Tarun Anand. He has a suave personality, a good command over words, and a liking for the limelight. He is a lawyer who strives on challenging cases. Yet, he has humility enough to accept his mistakes and make him a better person.
STORYLINE:
Life could not be more hunky dory for Tamanna, a buoyant girl with a promising career in advertising. Her little world comprises of her office and her home where she is like a guardian to her younger sister Tanya, who works as a Radio Jockey.
At a reunion party of her school, Tamanna meets the person she once had a crush on - Rohit (Salman), who was the best guitarist in the school at that time. Rohit and Tamanna spend some time together and are inevitably drawn towards each other. The rush of intimacy between the two is so strong that they forget the limits and make love without thinking about the consequences.
They separate with the promise to meet again. And for some time, things begin to look normal once again for Tamanna.
But her perfect world begins to crumble after she is diagnosed with an AIDS virus. She is shunned by her colleagues at work and then is fired from the company. She decides to fight her case in the court of law.
Spitfire lawyer Tarun (Abhishek) comes to her rescue. This is not just another case for him. He completely identifies with the cause Tamanna is fighting for. At the same time, he begins to feel for Tamanna in a special way. No name could be given to their relationship. Call it a bond of 'humane and like-minded people'.
While Tamanna is fighting with the deadly disease, several questions about Rohit haunt her. She wants to get in touch with him to find the answers. Little does she know that Rohit is battling a no less battle than her.
