Starring Sonakshi Sinha and Ajay Devgn in the lead roles, Son Of Sardaar features a slew of songs both entertaining and romantic. After the title track and the fun number Raja Rani, here is a love ballad Bichdann -- a sufi melody in the touching voice of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
In the song, Sonakshi Sinha is seen dressed as a bride, and bids adieu to not only her family, but also her love played by Ajay Devgn. Thus the beautiful song gets its title Bichdann. It is composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
However, the main attraction of the song remains the bride Sonakshi, decked up in a pink salwar-kameez with an ornate dupatta. The insiders reveal that Sonakshi Sinha looked so beautiful as the real bride while shooting that everyone in the crew started saying, they would “love to get married to her”.
The song was shot in Patiala, and soon it became the favourite song of the SOS crew. A sad love song always scores better than a mush-filled romantic track, especially when it is laced with poetic lyrics. Bichdann too has some shayari. For the romantic souls, here it is: Khuda kare zindagi mein yeh makaam aaye… Tujhe bhoolne ki dua karoon… Aur dua mein tera naam aaye…!
