- The Waah! Tera Kya Kehna Music Review

Govinda, Raveena Tandon and Preeti Jhangiani make an interesting triangle in director Manoj Aggarwal's forthcoming comic flick �Wah! Tera Kya Kehna�. The film's music by Jatin-Lalit duo is another slapstick fare that is typical of Govinda films. Sameer's lyrics too are tepid and cliched.

The highlight of the album is �I want Money�, the pseudo-English or rather Hinglish number that has Govinda exercising his vocal chords in distorted English along with Shweta Pandit. The song is about the hero's unflagging desire to possess more and more money.

The album also has two different versions (with slight changes) of the song �Mujhe Teri Nazarne�. Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik sing both the songs. This song is a cliched Bombaiyya love track that shows actress Preeti Jhangiani shedding all her inhibitions and rendering a few pelvic thrusts to the foot-tapping music by Jatin Lalit.

Then �Hallo Hallo� is an all-and-out funny number sung in full gusto by Sudesh Bhosle and Anuradha Sriram in Hyderabadi accent. While Anuradha does an impressive job, Sudesh seems to be mimicking the veteran comedian Mehmood in this number.

�Yeh Mujhe Kya Hua�, sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik is a romantic number that just about passes muster. This is particularly due to Sameer's trite and unimaginative lyrics.

Then follows �Karele Ki Shaadi�, which is without doubt the worst in the whole package. Sung by Abhijeet, the song not only has poor melody, its lyrics too are totally nonsensical.

The Album's title song �Wah! Tera Kya Kehna� is an average attempt at Qawali by Jatin-Lalit. Sung by Roopkumar Rathod and Kavita K. Subramaniam, this pseudo-qawali starts with fervor but soon loses its vigor and even begins to get on the listener's nerves.

On the whole the music score of �Wah! Tera Kya Kehna� is potpourri of foot-tapping catchy numbers but full of banality.
