1. Chhapaak
Inspired by the true-life story of Acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, Deepika Padukone is ready to set the cinema screen on fire! After garnering appreciation for her performance in Padmavat in the year 2018, she is expected to make a strong comeback with this goosebumps worthy movie. ‘Bikta hi nahi to Fikta bhi nahi’, this dialogue is making rounds on Twitter and is receiving heavy praise. Another interesting thing to wait for is the ace actor Vikrant Massey’s on-screen chemistry with the versatile diva. 2. Tanhaji : An Unsung Warrior
2020 marks the on-screen union of real-life couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol after a decade in this Om Raut directional. Based on Subedar Tanhaji Malusare, Chhatrapati Shivaji’s military leader’s life, Tanhaji is a historical drama expected to give you chills while you grab a popcorn bucket in cinemas. The film takes us back to the surgical strike of 17th century that shook the nation, the deciding battle of Singhabad and the way Tanhaji fought with the Mughal Commander Uday Bhan being portrayed by Saif Ali Khan. There are Victors and martyrs who are left unread on the pages of history. The movie aims to bring forward these heroes from the past.

Inspired from the real-life story of Indian national Level Kabbadi player, her struggles to overcome stereotypes and her triumphs, the movie features Kangana Ranaut Jaya Nigam and Jassi Gill as Prashant Shrivastava, her on-screen husband. Richa Chadda, Yagya Bhasin and Neena Gupta are other important actors who will be seen in this sports drama film. The film showcases the importance of a family’s love and support in the success of its own members.

A Saif Ali Khan starer the movie casts him as a 40 years old accidental dad of a young daughter being played by debutant Alaya Furniturewala. The actor will continue his onscreen activism with the spin-off of the above-mentioned movie. Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan casts Jitendra Kumar as Ayushaan’s on-screen love interest. 8. Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Ship
Produced by Dharma, the horror-thriller casts Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar as the lead characters. The two actors have never played a role in a paranormal movie, hence it would be interesting to watch their acting on-screen. Shashank Khaitan who has co-produced the film with Apoorva Mehta and Karan Johar says that the movie is based on a real-life incident that had occurred in Bombay. Though no clarifications so as to which incident he is indicating at have been made. The movie’s poster is horrifying to the core, imagine how would it be when released?

With a commercial success of Baaghi and Baaghi 2, the makers are ready to release their third instalment, Baaghi 3. Tiger resorts to his old character of Ranveer Pratap Singh and Kapoor plays the role of an Air Hostess. Also, the movie is an official remake of Tamil Film Vettai which was released in the year 2012.

The story moves around fake and corrupt godmen and features Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja Bhatt in the lead cast. The movie is close to Bhatt’s heart as it marks the comeback of Mahesh Bhatt as a director after a span of 20 years. It has been shot at various locations in Uttarakhand, Mumbai, Mysore and Ooty. The film was initially decided to be released on 25th March 2020 but now the date has been postponed.
