This newcomer has never-giving-up spirit

Even after her forgettable start in tinsel town with Vikram Bhatt’s flop movie Inteha, Vidya Malvade is confident of making her own little niche in Bollywood.

Just a few years ago Vidya was an airhostess and a contented wife married to a pilot husband who unfortunately died in a plane crash. Her world fell apart after that accident. But Vidya gathered courage to pick back the pieces of her shattered life and get on with it. Since then, there has been no looking back for this belle.

She started with modeling and soon came to the notice of ad filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar. After doing a couple of ads, she got her first Bollywood break with Vikram Bhatt’s Inteha. Although the movie has bitten dust at the marquee, Vidya is not throwing in the towel and is confident of making her mark. Her never-giving-up spirit has got her this far and she is sure that it will also see her through on her remaining journey.

And, as is said, ‘luck favors the courageous and brave’, the ladyluck seemed to have smiled on Vidya as she recently bagged two more films – director Amit Saxena’s next titled Agar (which is loosely based on Hollywood’s ‘Sliding Doors’) and another film by director Anurag Kashyap, to be produced by Mukesh Bhatt.

In Agar, Vidya will be seen playing a model who aspires to be a fashion designer.
