Last month, we told you that Akshay Kumar is slated to play the role of the great Pran in the remake of Don . But things have changed now.
Reports are that Akshay has turned down the film which will be directed by Farhan Akhtar and will star Shah Rukh in the role of the mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan , with Priyanka Chopra stepping into the shoes of the sexy Zeenat Aman .
Reports add that Akshay turned down the remake of ‘Don’ because he is presently concentrating on his three comedy films, (the sequel of Hera-Pheri being one).
Recently Akshay had also turned down to appear on the show ‘Koffee with Karan’ anchored by Karan Johar because of date problems.
Akshay on last Friday had his head cut accidentally by a collision with a sharp-edged cabinet but hasn’t had the injury affect his work.
