Shahrukh Khan gets Global Entertainment award
Shahrukh Khan, whose last release My Name Is Khan created box office record overseas, was conferred with the Global Entertainment and Media Personality award at the FICCI Frames 2010 Excellence Awards in Mumbai.

“Thank you so much to FICCI for bestowing this award on me, and the job that you guys are doing is absolutely outstanding,” the superstar said after receiving the award.

Sexagenarian star Amitabh Bachchan and actress Vidya Balan bagged the best actor award (male and female) for their outstanding performances in R. Balki's film Paa. Ranbir Kapoor won the best entertainment award.

Oscar winning music director AR Rahman got the Global Icon of the Year award.

Director Rajkumar Hirani got the best director award for his blockbuster 3 Idiots and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra got best film award for the same movie.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra expressed his gratitude in a pre-recorded video: “Thank you so much, FICCI. Thank you so much to all the members who voted for 3 Idiots. I am really honoured and deeply appreciate your gesture.”

Pritam was presented the best music director award for Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal.
