Short is sexy |
A mini-skirt leaves little to the imagination. But in these times of noodle-strap bikinis, is anyone really squeamish about the minis. Our Bollywood babes certainly aren’t. They are gifted with a pair of shapely legs, and what better way to flaunt them than slipping into a short skirt.
Miniskirts are now the new sex symbol in Bollywood, thanks to Deepika Padukone’s sexy dance move in the Mit Jaaye Gham song. It’s heard that she wasn’t really comfortable in dancing as her skirt was way too short. Moreover, the lyrics also talk about tugging the skirt. But it’s not only Deepika who has caught the fancy of Bolly buffs with her skirt. Aishwarya Rai made a sexy comeback when she sported chic dresses especially skimpy skirts in the song ‘Crazy Kiya Re’.
Now, little info on the miniskirt: it was invented in the 60s in the UK when Mary Quant, a designer, decided to name them after her car ‘Mini’. Now miniskirts are a fashion rage and Bollywood divas too have embraced them. In 1996, the fans of Kajol loved her in white skirt when she danced to Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye song in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
