The Spring is upon us and it’s that time of the year when water-guns and gulaal are brought out to play the festival of colours - Holi. It’s a festival that’s been celebrated quite often in Indian films.

Just last year, Aishwarya Rai and Neha Dhupia were seen gyrating to the earthy beats of a Holi song in director Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s film Action Replayy. But Hindi cinema has given us more memorable songs after the festival that heralds the coming of spring and summer.

Songs like Rang Barse featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha remains the most famous on anyone’s list. Then there are songs featuring the likes of Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Rajesh Khanna, Akshay Kumar, and many more.
