Conflicting reports about actor Sohail Khan ’s involvement in a brawl last week have created confusion whether he was playing the mediator or the thrasher in the fight.
It happened last week at Bandra’s nightclub Squeeze. A fight broke out between newcomer Ashmit Patel and Upen Patel. Sohail stepped in as the mediator and ensured a quiet end to the scuffle.
But then the action shifted to another joint in Bandra called Shooters. Reports suggest that it is here Sohail and Ashmit together beat up Anupam Kher’s son Sikander.
While Anupam Kher has reportedly filed a complaint against the two at the Khar police station, Sohail claims that he was in no way involved in the brawl. In fact, Sohail says that Sikander is his friend and he even talked with him after the incident.
One source says that the fight between the three broke out after Sikander passed some unsavory comments on Sohail’s brother Salman Khan .
But Sohail denies that anything like this happened. He told Mid-Day: “Sikander did not say anything against Salman. These are just speculative reasons for why the fight broke out, which I repeat, did not involve me.”
The police say they have given a warning to Ashmit, Sohail and Sikander not to fight again in the future.
Coincidentally, Sohail is presently busy with two Bollywood projects, ‘Fight Club’ and ‘Aryan’ (in which he plays a boxer).
