Milan Luthria’s latest movie has already caught the fancy of movie buffs. Now, the film has been invited for a rare honour.
Reports have it that the Margaret Herrick Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences have expressed interest in including the screenplay of Taxi Number 9211 in its script-screenplay collection.
The library’s vast collection is used for study and research by film students and directors.
The inclusion of ‘Taxi Number 9211’ in the library is an honour for its director Milan Luthria , writer Rajat Arora and producer Ramesh Sippy’s Entertainment One.
The movie tells the story of a day in the life of two mutually incompatible guys – one is an eccentric taxi driver and the other is a high-headed youth about to inherit millions. Nana Patekar and John Abraham play the two roles.
