Bollywood stars coming frequently to Delhi 19th May 2006

The stars of tinsel town have been descending on New Delhi more frequently of late.
The last few weeks have seen the presence of host of Bollywood stars in the Indian capital. Right from the enigmatic Amitabh Bachchan to the demure Tabu , from the ‘serial kisser’ Emraan Hashmi to the ‘skull crusher’ Sunny Deol , from the charming Amrita Rao to the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra and from the suave Akshay Kumar to the cute Shahid Kapoor , the cinestars from Hindi film industry have been making regular visits to Delhi.
The last week saw Sunny Deol in Delhi, along with Priyanka Chopra, in connection with the shooting of his long-in-the-making film ‘Deodhar Gandhi’.
Before that, filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya made a fleeting visit to Delhi for the shooting of his forthcoming film 'Vivaha'. Also accompanying him were the lead pair of the film, Amrita Rao and Shahid Kapur.
And in the last week of April, Emraan Hashmi was in the capital, along with his uncle filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt , in connection with the promotion of his latest film Gangster .
The Capital also witnessed the arrival of filmmaker Akbar Khan with the cast of his film Taj Mahal . The filmmaker was in Delhi prior to leaving for Karachi for the Pakistan premiere of his film on April 28. Also accompanying him were filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, Akbar Khan's brother Feroz Khan and the lead star of the film Zulfi Syed, all of whom were part of the delegation to visit Pakistan for the film's premiere.
