Amitabh Bachchan denies re-recording title track of 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom'

Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan has denied reports that he asked for the title track in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom to be re-recorded in Shankar Mahadevan's voice after it was done in Daler Mehandi 's voice.

In an interview Ehsan, one-third of the composing trio Shankar Ehsan Loy is quoted as saying that Bachchan did indeed ask for the change of voice as he wanted to continue with Shankar's vocals after Kajra re in Bunty Aur Babli and Rock 'n' roll soniye in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna .

Bachchan completely denied Ehsaan's claim.

"This is a load of rubbish. I'm not aware of any change in the title song's vocals. I performed to what was given to me. Everyone knows, at Yashraj Films nothing moves without the consent of Aditya Chopra ," the Big B said heatedly, adding that he finds such compact controversies a total waste of time.

The 'Pirate' look for the Big B was devised by the reclusive Chopra, personally supervised the complete look of the film

‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ stars Abhishek Bachchan , Bobby Deol , Preity Zinta and Lara Dutta and has an extended special appearance by Bachchan.

The promos of the soon-to-be-released film already show the Big B playing a special role in the film inspired by Johnny Depp's character in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

The promos for the film show Bachchan wearing multi-coloured patchwork long coat, a hat adorned with ribbons, flowers and feathers and beaded hair in the vein of The Pied Piper.

Abhishek too sports a new look in the film as far as facial foliage goes. His customary stubble has been replaced with by a tweaked moustache.

Bobby will also don different looks in the film. Some scenes have him in straight black hair. Others have him sporting long, blondish hair.
