Aamir Khan cuts birthday cake with mediapersons

The usually reclusive Aamir Khan became media savvy on his birthday. Is he taking a leaf out of Shah Rukh Khan ’s book?

Aamir has turned 43 on Friday, March 14. Every year the actor keeps away from media cameras on this special day. But today, he made an exception.

At his Bandra residence a number of media persons and some fans had gathered to wish Aamir a very happy birthday. Instead of giving the paparazzi a slip, as he usually does, Aamir came up to them and spoke with a broad smile on his face.

He even cut a small cake with 43 candles on it. Reporters sang ‘Happy Birthday Aamir’ after the superstar blew the candles.

With grace and gratitude Aamir accepted greetings from everyone. It may be recalled that SRK had also cut many birthday cakes with correspondents of different TV news channels on his Birthday in November last year.

When asked what is the best gift he has got on this birthday, Aamir said: “Actually it is a card that Kiran made for me. She is a good artist and last night she made a lovely card for me. I really liked it.”

This birthday would also be a memorable one for Aamir, for he is set to shave his head in the evening. The actor is going bald for his role in the upcoming Hindi remake of Ghajini .

Celebrity hairstylist Avan Contractor will do the honour of shaving Aamir’s head.
