The’ migratory bird’ is homing in, at last. Stumped as to the identity of the person?
Well, it is none other than Mamta Mohandas , who had hopped over to neighbouring Tollywood after making her cinematic debut in Malayalam cinema.
Mamta did attract attention in her maiden film, ‘Mayookham. A realistic movie, directed by veteran Hariharan, saw Ms Mohandas impress with a subdued performance.
Then came ‘Lanka’ in which the beautiful maiden enacted a few really hot and intimate scenes with action hero Suresh Gopi . It was Mamta at her sizzling best.
But then, the offers did not come thick and fast as expected. So, the lovely heroine tried her luck in Telugu cinema, and came good, almost instantly.
Her debut film in Telugu, ‘Yama Donga’ was a hit. Mamta also proved her singing talent by crooning a number for the film. She has been signed up for another Telugu flick, ‘Krishnarjuna’ in which she will have ample scope for oozing oomph.
Now that she has established herself in Tollywood, Mamta is staging a comeback in Mollywood. Veteran director Fazil has signed her up for his film in which Prithviraj plays the male lead. The film is produced by ace director Priyadarshan .
The Mollywood buss is that Mamta has bagged another Malayalam film, which will be shot mostly in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The New Year seems to be turning out good for the Keralite stunner!
