It has fallen to the lot of Bollywood beauty Ayesha Takia to be the heroine of Tamil superstar Rajnikant in his next film.
The film, titled ‘Sivaji’, will be directed by Shankar who directed the super hit Anniyan .
According to the Kollywood grapevine, Ayesha was chosen as Rajni's first choice Aishwarya Rai was not able to accept the offer owing to her busy schedule.
Incidentally, this is the third time Ash has not been able to accept Rajni's offer to be his heroine. Rajni had offered her the heroine's role in his earlier films Baba and Chandramukhi too.
Ayesha is no stranger to Southern cinema. The fast rising actress in Bollywood has already acted against Telugu superstar Nagarjuna in his superhit "Super".
For Ayesha, who is said to command a price of Rs 50 lakh per film, it is a dream come true to act with India's highest paid actor at present.
Shooting for the film is expected to start soon, as per the buzz from Kollywood.
Nayanthara and Trisha had also tried to bag the prestigious role in Rajni's next film. But Rajni has opted for Ayesha, according to the buzz from Kollywood.
