Johnny Depp named best actor by OK Magazine

Incredibly talented Hollywood star Johnny Depp has been named year 2005's best actor by OK Magazine.

According to agency reports, Johnny Depp, whose movie 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' was among the biggest box-office grossers in 2005, beat other big stars like Brad Pitt and Vince Vaughn to emerge as the best actor in the US edition of OK! magazine's poll.

Among the actresses, Angelina Jolie was named the best actress of the year. Her movie 'Mr and Mrs Smith', with beau Brad Pitt, had a very good run at the theatres worldwide in 2005.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon took the second and third slot respectively, according to reports on Contactmusic.

Comedy film 'Wedding Crashers' starring Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn in the lead roles, was declared the Best film in the magazine's poll.

The hit TV series 'Desperate Housewives' was crowned Favourite TV Show by the magazine.
