Bollywood stars are increasingly getting drawn towards characters with gray shades.
Saif Ali Khan , who has shown shades of villainy in films like Omkara or Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena , is set to enter the dark world of infamy again with his role in writer Rensil D’Silva’s first film as a director.
Rensil, who had written Rang De Basanti , has reportedly penned a hard-hitting script about a terrorist on a deadly mission. It would be a realistic film set in a city. Saif would play the troubled protagonist.
In fact, Karan Johar was so taken up by the script that he decided to produce the film for Rensil and gave him a free hand in choosing the star cast.
The movie has Kareena Kapoor as Saif’s love interest. After Tashan this would be the second film in which Saif and Bebo are paired together.
Saif is presently working on his first home production with director Imtiaz Ali in London. Kareena is also there with him for a few days before flying to the US to shoot Kambakht Ishq.
Meanwhile, Saif is looking forward to the release of his film Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic this Friday.
The actor is eager to see the audience response after the lackluster ‘Tashan’ early this year.
