What a bright start for the HDIL couture week 2010. Manish Malhotra shows his bridal collection and the ravishing Aishwarya Rai walks as the showstopper in an ivory-white creation. That’s a modern-day bride who loves to experiment with colours.
Though it isn’t a conventional hue for an Indian bride, Manish’s fusion outfit with corset covering the waist, and skirt (lehenga) designed like the lower part of a splendid gown, looked simply awesome on Ash. We think that while designing Ash’s effulgent dress he kept her simplicity in mind. The dress has a creative use of lace with minor embroidery; no flashy overtones.
Ash is just back from her trip to Europe where she attended Giorgio Armani fashion show and Roberto Cavalli’s huge 40th anniversary bash. Her public appearances make for a hot topic of discussion.
