Internationally acclaimed sand artiste Sudarshan Pattnaik and his students have created a sand sculpture of Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan on the occasion of his 64th birthday today.
A day before his 64th birthday, tourists flocked to a sand sculpture of Bachchan on the sea beach of the tourist resort Puri in Orissa.
The sculpture was created to wish Bachchan ‘Happy Birthday’.
Pattnaik reportedly used 64 bags of sand to create the image.
It took the artistes four hours to carve out the sculpture and they will send a photograph of the sculpture to Bachchan.
Pattnaik had also shaped an image of Bachchan on the Konark sea beach, close to the Sun Temple, several months ago when he had taken ill to wish him ‘speedy recovery’.
Happy Birthday Mr. Bachchan.
