For the gorgeous Brides
1. Anushka Sharma’s classy lehenga
The most awaited wedding of #Virushka saw the bride Anushka wearing an elegant pale pink lehenga designed by the multi-talented designer Sabyasachi. She chose to have a delicate and simple yet astounding look for her D-day. Worn with an uncut diamond choker, matha-patti and other golden pink jewellery from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery Collection, she aced her look with minimal makeup, giving some major bride goals! The English renaissance look created by Anushka became a dream look for several brides.
2. Alia Bhatt’s gorgeous look from 2 States
The Student of the Year actress Alia looked nothing short of a stunner in a red Kanjeevaram Silk Saree. She grasped lots of eyeballs for her South Indian bridal look in the movie 2 States. Paired with simple jewellery and a pretty orange blouse, the whole wedding look is an inspiration for South Indian brides. Maintaining the iconic red colour of a bride, she managed to add a tint of modernism in it.
3. Priyanka Chopra’s dreamy affair
One of the grand weddings that Bollywood saw in the year 2019 was that of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Keeping in mind the cultural backgrounds of both the bride and the groom, they had a Christian as well as a Hindu wedding. For the latter, the movie star and pop singer, Priyanka wore a bespoke red lehenga designed by the popular designer, Sabyasachi. Paining it up with minimal jewellery and mangalsutra, again from Sabyasachi, she had a look that every bride dreams of! Furthermore, it took 110 embroiders and 3720 man-hours to create this masterpiece.

4. Kareena Kapoor Khan’s unique look from Veere Di Wedding
Bollywood diva made it to the silver screen as a bride in a yellow golden lehenga designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. A bride in yellow! Who could have imagined that? The mermaid style lehenga she wore was 25 years old. Therefore, it was revamped with the tints of modernity making it a mix of vintage and western design. The off-shoulder choli is yet another style statement set by Karina Kapoor Khan. With flowers embellished in her hairstyle, smokey nude eyes, a birdichand pearl necklace and haathphool her look was delicate yet mesmerizing!

Putting together the looks for Kalindis homecoming was so much fun. We worked with a beautiful vintage Chikan from the @abujanisandeepkhosla archives for her wedding heirloom lehenga and for @sonamkapoor a timeless shadow lehenga. They were both paired with modern blouse silhouettes but adorned with pearls. My favourite part of Bebos final look? The string of pearls. Simple, effortless and refreshing. #newclassics. #VeereDiWedding On Sonam: Outfit: @abujanisandeepkhosla Jewellery: @sunita_shekhawat_jaipur On Kareena @abujanisandeepkhosla vintage lehenga paired and customised blouse with custom Birdichand pearl necklace and haathphool On Shikha: Outfit: @abujanisandeepkhosla Earrings: @hazoorilaljewellers On Swara: Outfit: @abujanisandeepkhosla Jewellery: @hazoorilaljewellers
5. Neha Dhupia’s subtle look
Neha Dhupia ruled the bridal world with Anita Dongre’s Aniti lehenga which the former had worn for her wedding. If you believe less is more, then this pale pink lehenga should surely be your inspiration. Complimenting her lehenga completely were her petal-pink lips, smokey eyes, low bun, Kundan choker (gulband necklace), a maang tikka and matching jhumkas. Even though she chose an easy-going look, she looked regal and elegant on her wedding day.
6. Deepika Padukone’s Royal affair
Looking just like the real-life Raani Padmavati, Deepika’s royal embroidery lehenga snatched the limelight on her D-Day. Bright red lehenga paired with heavy jewellery, the actress looking nothing short of a queen. For her Sindhi Wedding, she chose the creation of her all-time favourite Designer Sabyasachi. The best part of this wedding outfit was her hand panned dupatta which had ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhav’ embroidered on its borders. Written in Devnagari, the verse means ‘may you forever be married’. What a wonderful beginning to the journey towards forever!
For the handsome Grooms
1. Sunny Nijar’s good boy look
From the movie Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which became an overnight hit, we’ve got some major groom look goals! Sunny Nijar aka Titu in this movie wore a stunning golden sherwani with sequin collar and thread work. Continuing his monotone look, his turban was the same as the sherwani’s colour. In accessories, he chose a 5-layer pearl kanthi necklace which embraced the whole look. All in all this all-gold look can be re-created very easily.
2. Ranveer Singh’s Red Look
Twinning with his Forever, Ranveer took the pheras in a Red Kanjeewaram Sherwani designed by Sabyasachi. Singh rocked the look with layered diamond, emerald and garnet jewellery followed by a leheriya safa. Ever seen a groom keep the accessory game this high? This man did it like no other man could! If these aren’t bridegroom goals then what are?

3. Shahid Kapoor’s minimalistic look
A torchbearer of contemporary yet classic fashion, the Jab We Met actor kept it low-key in an ivory ensemble. Designed by Kunal Rawal, Shahid’s sherwani with intricate threadwork and a marron safa truly stole the attention of hundreds of hearts.
4. Junior Bachchan’s Traditional Look
Abhishek ditched the exquisite designers and chose to have his wedding outfit woven by a master weaver from Varanasi. Abdul Matin, the head weaver of the family that has 400 years of weaving lineage, created a golden sherwani from Chaodani fabric which one of the world’s costliest fabrics. Complimenting the unique outfit was his green emerald jewellery and Sehra which had peacock feathers. Coming from a family known for being strict when it comes to following traditions, the Bunty Aur Babli actor got for himself a traditional dulha look.
I hope things must have started to take some sort of shape in your mind. Bollywood or no Bollywood, each one of your wedding outfit would be fantabulous enough to make you feel confident and special. After all, it’s the most important day of your life, you are finally getting hitched with the love of your life. And what could be better than that? I’m sure you’ll look the best! Sending you all the positive and happy vibes. Congratulations!
